Adoring Women Of Love (AWOL)

The Adoring Women of Love (AWOL) is a women’s ministry of Adoration for A New Beginning Church. This vision was given to Carla Davis by God and was birthed in 1999 with the support of members of Adoration. AWOL is designed to provide love, spiritual support, encouragement, and guidance through the Word of God to women.

This group of Christian women is on fire for the Lord and is an example of how an intimate relationship with Christ can change your life forever. We gather monthly to fellowship, offer support and encouragement to one another by sharing the Word of God through prayer, study, sharing experiences, and just praising God. We pray for the healing and restoration of women, and that the peace of God rest upon them. We desire for all women to be filled with the fullness of God, and those who do not know Him will give their lives to Christ and be made whole.

Mission

To spread the love of Christ to all women and to be led by the Spirit in all that we do.

GOAL

To reach women who are hurting, lost, confused, feeling left out, just need that support from a friend, or need an atmosphere to receive support and encouragement from others Christian women can relate to. That these women will come to know the true and full love of Christ and experience a life of joy with Him!

OUR PRAYER

Our prayer is the same as the Apostle Paul for the Ephesians,” That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width, and length, and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. “ Ephesians 3:16-19
